VISIT the Sonoma State Historic Park Web site.

Mexican Barracks, Sonoma, California
Located at Sonoma State Historic Site. There are Mexican army artifacts on display here, such as cannons and uniforms. There is also a simulated enlisted men's area, a theater with video, and a very nice bookstore with several books for sale relating to the California portion of the U.S.-Mexican War.

Located in corner of main plaza at Sonoma, almost adjacent to Bear Flag monument and across the street from Mexican Barracks (see above).

VISIT the Monterey State Historic Park Web site.

Monterey Chapel
Chapel of Mexican Troops, Monterey, California
Located in Old Town Monterey. No admission fee. No mention of U.S.-Mexican War. Small gift shop with religious items for sale.
Fremont House
Fremont House, Monterey, California
Presently being used as a French bakery. Located adjacent to main Post Office.
